Yoga · Nervous System · Biodecodification · Womb Wisdom · Temazcal · Cacao Ceremony
Held by Maja · 4 Jungle Casitas · 4 Veranda Suites · Hosted at Casa Arkaana
MetAmoRphosiS is an invitation — to return to the woman you were before the world told you who to be. Authenticity. Self-discovery. Awakening. A remembering of your wholeness.
In the loving embrace of Casa Arkaana, held within the living temple of the Mayan jungle, we weave a sacred container for deep healing and transformation. Together we tend to the altar of the mind, listen to the wisdom of the womb, and trace the energy leaks back to their source. We meet the socio-cultural archetypes that have been running the show — victim, saviour, aggressor — and lean gently into the shadow to receive what it has come to teach.
We shed the small stories. We name what we are alchemising, and we celebrate what we are calling in. Through ceremony, nature therapy, art and embodiment, we reclaim our sovereignty — and learn to create sacred space for ourselves, wherever we go.
A small circle of eight women. The jungle as witness. Your deep cellular knowing as the teacher.
May all that unfolds here serve as a remembering — and a homecoming to your most authentic self.
Held by Maja and a circle of women facilitators in the Mexican jungle. Here's everything you receive.
Not included: Airfare · Airport transfers · Travel insurance · Personal expenses
A sample rhythm of the retreat. The container holds firm; specific timings stay flexible to honor each day's energy.
*This is a draft program to give an overview, which may be subject to changes as Maja refines the container with each retreat.

Five acres of ancient jungle. The cenote-fed pool. The Temple where the medicine work happens. The path through the trees. This is the land that will hold you for five days — seen from above.
Women who are in a moment of transition — perimenopause, separation, burnout, or the quiet but unmistakable feeling that something has to change. Whether you have a contemplative practice or you're new to this work, the container holds you. Maja designs each day so that more experienced women find depth, and women new to embodied work feel safe arriving exactly as they are.
The depth of the work — biodecodification, womb wisdom, voice activation — only opens fully in a small, intimate circle. Eight women is the upper edge of what allows every voice to be heard, every story to land, and Maja to hold each of you with the care this work requires. We've chosen depth over volume on purpose.
No. The yoga is gentle and accessible. The workshops introduce frameworks and practices in a way that works for both beginners and women who already have years of practice. Temazcal and cacao ceremony are guided every step — Kia holds the container so you don't need to know what to do, only how to be present.
Biodecodification is a body-mind framework for understanding the emotional roots of physical and behavioral patterns. Maja guides you through her own integration of the practice — looking at where stress, blocks, or symptoms first formed, and how they connect to specific emotional events. It is neither therapy nor diagnosis. It is a way of listening to the body as a teacher.
Temazcal is a traditional Mesoamerican sweat lodge — heat, steam, medicinal plants, and song held in ceremony. Kia is an experienced ceremony holder who guides each round with care. You stay in the heat only as long as it serves you. Many women describe the temazcal as the single most transformative moment of the retreat.
Plant-based, locally sourced, designed specifically for women in transition. Our permaculture kitchen incorporates anti-inflammatory ingredients, hormone-supportive proteins, and medicinal plants from the land. We accommodate dietary intentions and food sensitivities — tell us in advance and we adapt.
Yes — extended stays before or after the retreat are possible subject to availability. Email connect@casaarkaana.com with your dates and we'll confirm rates for the additional nights. Many women stay an extra 2–3 nights to integrate and explore the Riviera Maya.
Casa Arkaana is 1 hour 15 minutes from Cancún International Airport (CUN) and 30 minutes from Tulum airport (TQO). We can arrange airport transfers — shared shuttle ($45 USD/way) or private ($110 USD/way). Tell us your flight details after booking.
The deposit is non-refundable. Your spot is fully transferable — to another date or to another woman of your choosing. Life happens; we work with you to find a solution.
Yes. Casa Arkaana is held with clarity around inclusion. The work is held by women, for women — and that includes trans women, non-binary individuals who identify with feminine cycles and energetics, and women across cultures, ages, and backgrounds. Safety here is not a policy — it is the lived practice of how Maja and the team show up.
Tell us a little about yourself and which room calls. Maja reviews every reservation personally. By default, we'll set up a 15-min call with her so the two of you can feel each other before any deposit.
