The sweatlodge (Temazcal) is a round structure within which volcanic rocks are placed in the center and are covered in water infused with medicinal herbs. This space symbolizes our mother’s womb and the universe. This powerful and holistic purification ritual is a sacred ceremony of rebirth which serves to help us heal the body, mind and spirit by releasing that which doesn’t serves us anymore.

From pre-hispanic times, Cacao has been drunk ceremonially and highly valued as a plant of the Gods by the Mayans and other Mesoamerican cultures. It is a heart-opening plant spirit that has many uplifting, healing, and detoxifying properties in relation to the mind, body, and spirit.
